I'm very sad to write about the death of a friend of mine, and the singer in a band I worked with for a couple of years. Terrin Derfey, singer and bass player in Boilermaker, among other bands, father, husband, and friend to many, passed away in late October. If you care about this sort of stuff, take a listen to "Slow Down" from Boilermaker's second album. It is a song with special meaning for people who've had friends who have passed away. I'm going to try to get two Boilermaker songs up on this site soon.
